Allies in Action is more than assembling school supply kits—it’s about standing with kids who need support most. On November 7 at the Center on Halsted, volunteers, community partners, and advocates will join forces to build over 1,000 Back 2 School America kits for Chicago youth. Each kit comes packed with tools for academic success and messages of encouragement reminding kids: You are seen, you are valued, you are not alone.

For too many students—especially those in marginalized communities—school can bring challenges like bullying, discrimination, and lack of resources. Allies in Action is our way of showing up in a powerful, tangible way.
